When you are logged in and at the top right it says:
Welcome,{USERNAME}
{NUMBER OF UNREAD POSTS} Unread Posts since your last visit
Private Messages: Unread{-}, Total{-}

I think you should take out the number of unread posts because it just seems unprofessional.

Why does it seem unprofessional? It's perfectly fine to me as it gives the users a chance to catch up on posts they missed.

Yeah, it's intended purpose is to see all of the unread posts since your last visit, which gives you a chance to see some topics you might've missed beforehand.

I gotta agree with Unbreakable and CD on that one , I love catching up after I have been away a couple of days with topics I have missed -you might find yourself out-voted on this one.

Yeah, that's usually the first thing I click on when I sign in, so I can catch up with the discussions I've already been involved in. I don't think it makes it seem unprofessional, if anything it adds a new dimension to vBulletin which used to be quite flat and unpractical back in the day.

You must have been away for a long time to have clocked up that amount , just sort out what interests you and flag the rest.
