Afternoon Unbreakable , yeah I have been home all day watching Doctor Who as I took the day off because of the flu-rhymes a bit that.

I've been okay lately, had a rough start to the beginning of yesterday, but it's cool now. In any case, the new female friend I've been referring to is one I've been thinking about more & more. She's admitted she's looking for friends, but understands that a friendship comes first, & that basically that's where anything starts.

I'm glad she understands, so if this works out, then I'll finally have the one thing I've been searching for the most over the last few years.

Hey everyone. How's it going? Sorry i haven't been around as much lately been working a lot recently, hopefully should be back to normal next week.

I have not posted much lately either Unbreakable , just finishing off my auctions and organizing my class reunion for next year and have started at the gym but will get back into doing some more reviews and will come up with some new ideas for a couple of new threads in the coming weeks.

Been hella busy lately, my music has been taking up a large portion of my time, but I'm not complaining. I don't think I'm even half as busy as I'll eventually be if I get to where I need to be soon.

You know we all wish you the best with that Mike , have you got any news on up coming releases either on the big screen or dvd as I think we all need to get some new threads up there on the latest movies-have you seen that Percy Jackson movie I am interested in that but would like some feedback from yourself or some other members as I trust everyones opinion on here on these new movies as I no longer go to the theatre.


I would like someone on here to pick a movie , and then all of us would get it out at the same time so we could give reviews on what we thought or even get a poll going on that particular film-could be a old or new film but it might be fun , depending on the timezones we would all be watching it in the space of 6-12 hours , myself in NZ would be the first to watch as we are ahead time wise to the rest of the world.

We actually did this on another board i used to run, you pick a movie and we all watch it at the same time and post while we are watching it. It seemed to work really well, could be something cool to do in the future.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear the well wishes, they are very much appreciated. And no, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I want to so I'll probably check it out on DVD soon, it looks really good.

Just like Unbreakable, there was a site where I used to do this with other member's, & it was fun, so yeah, I think we should definitely try this sometime in the future.

Btw, it doesn't seem like there's been a lot of activity going on as of late. Where is everybody?

I think everyone has been busy , I have had my auctions and other things on the go , you have been busy with your music , I have not heard from Raivynn for a while and I just think there is not much big happening on the movie front at the moment-but hey something big is bound to come along soon so we can all get back to discussing what we are good at-the films

Yeah, and isn't it summer in the US? Most people are out doing stuff. I've been really busy with real life stuff, same with most other people. We should pick up again soon.

Yeah I forgot about the summer over there , we in NZ are in the middle of Winter and last night here in Wellington it was as stormy as hell-the rain did not stop and the wind howled all night , Wellington is well known for the wind where we have had some of the biggest gusts ever recorded in the history of the planet down here.If you look at a map you will see the North and the South Island seperated by Cook Strait-one of the roughest Straits anywhere and well known to seafarers from around the world-believe me people you do not want to be on that part of the ocean on a rough day.

Wellington Airport can close very quickly and it has always given me the shits flying in here , as for the port well that is incredible as well and I should know as I used to tie up the ferries here.One day me and four others went up in a howling gale to put the ropes on one of the ships that were arriving , we had to put extra ropes on and were getting blown around the wharf in 110km winds , the amazing thing about this is when we had to let the ship go after one hour in port the sun was shining , there was no wind and the skies were clear so you people now know how the weather can change down here-very fast.

Tourists take our bush and mountains very lightly when they come here and that is why they go missing and die very quickly out in the bush , I have a huge respect for the bush and forests and always shake my head when people come here in the Winter and then end up dying out there-come in the Summer and go with a local and stay on the tracks and you will not go wrong.
