Default DVD vs Movies

Would you rather go the cinema and spend all that money or stay home and rent a dvd?

Depending on the film, Theaters, then eventually on DVD.

Could you put the thread in the correct spot next time, thanks. I like watching movies in theaters more than DVD, though.

Same here.
Money also plays a huge factor in what I go to see and what I wait for.

Definitely depends, but I think I prefer going to the theaters as long as you get a good crowd. If you get the right crowd that will shut up and react to everything, it can greatly enhance the experience. But at least when you are at home, you don't have to deal with morons who love to laugh at inappropriate times, talk loudly, or yell out various things.

I like to do that during the previews and the pre-previews (whatever they're called). It's fun.

But never during the movie -- that's just annoying.

Anyway, I always prefer to watch a movie in theaters, but a lot of the time I don't because it costs so much. If I had the money to watch every movie I wanted in theaters, I would.

I'm with CD on this one, i like watching certain types of films in the Cinemas, mostly action, Sci-Fi, Drama. I've only been to a few which are Comedy, mainly because i can't stand people constantly laughing.

But i'm in between, they are both a completely different experience, unless you have a $50,000 home theater set-up.

For my first time if it's a movie I'm hyped to see I'd prefer to see it in theaters first, then on DVD. Going to the cinema to see movies is just fun because of the atmosphere and because you're getting out the house. In my case, it's always fun to go to the cinema, especially since I'm not going all the time.

If it's a movie I've really been looking forward to, I'll go see it in the theaters. Otherwise, I'll wait until it comes out on rental.

Default Cinemas or Dvd?

Would you rather go to the cinema to watch a film or wait later to watch it on DVD?

I would rather rent or buy a DVD than going to a theater.
