I must say that Tyler Mane was the perfect choice for Michael Myers, his bodywork in the first movie was incredible, and it looks to me from all the trailers & pics that he's upped his game in H2.

I love Tyler Mane to death, met the guy at a comic signing and he's a real sweetheart. But he's just not Michael Myers to me.

Love the original moreso. He was a mysterious shape, and nothing more. The fact that a person has the capacity for evil, and kills just because is very effective, and has a very disturbing appeal about it.

Mane's cool though, just not Mikey to me either.

It's hard to explain, but I'll do my best. I just feel that the original Myers was superior in every way, there was just something so disturbing and eery about every little movement and even when he was completely still and looked like he was barely breathing he was just terrifying.

I wanted to like Zombie's remake, mainly cause I love Rob Zombie and I've enjoyed his other movies. But I didn't connect with this or his interpretation of Michael at all.

Mane's Meyers was too "human", for me. Not even mystery or creepiness.

Agreed, and I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me, but I'd love it if someday Michael actually talked. Afterall, he's not an idiot, so if he did it once I don't think it'd be a bad idea.

Well he took a vow of silence, and either incarnation is generally pretty intelligent, but what would he say if he did? Something related to Laurie perhaps?

Zombie actually intended to have him say "Boo" at the end toward's Laurie and filmed the scene, but didn't use it. I think if he says something, it should be short & sweet, and directed at Laurie. Perhaps a scene where she questions his motives, and he answers?
