I FINALLY completed the trailer.

Well, not quite completed. What needs to be done are exportation, then widescreen-ing, and then exportation again.

Once it's done, I'll upload it onto Youtube.

One thing I'm insanely proud of is that the trailer is full of little camera glitches like the ones seen in Cloverfield; except, they're all real. There are no artificial camera glitches in the trailer; the only artificial element is the smoke at the end, which I finally managed to motion track and mask in Adobe After Effects.

Please excuse the poor CGI at the end - it's my first time using Adobe After Effects. My main goal was to get the motion tracking to work. For the actual film, I'll definitely work on making the smoke more realistic, so please don't comment on it. I also apologise for the crappy video quality, the original file was better than this.

Yeah, it normally takes around 1 hour or so to work.

So basically, right now I'm going through and doing a whole bunch of test shots to try and get the Visual Effects worked out. Later today I'm gonna get my dad to drive me out to the location of the big money shot for the end of the film, which I'm hoping in the finished film will be pretty spectacular

Last night I also worked on some day-to-night conversions, as I'm planning for a scene to take place at nighttime. The result was pretty effective, I might show you guys at some point.

I'm also gonna work on getting the smoke to look more realistic.

Oh, and I may reveal plot details soon. I don't know why I'm keeping it a secret, as it's not as spectacular as Cloverfield, and some of you may already know. But I'm keeping wraps on it until I've fully sorted out the plot.
